To all your staff,

Yesterday we attended our first meeting at Leicester, through the reciprocal arrangement with Stratford Racecourse, where we have been members for a number of years, and we would like to express our thanks to the whole of your team for making it such a wonderful day.
The moment we arrived at the course the attendant at the gate helpfully directed us to the correct car parking area where the attendants were very friendly and also very well organised. They in turn then directed us to the reception area where we were welcomed and ‘signed in’ as visitors by the charming staff. We were remembered as having telephoned the previous day to book a table in the Nelson Suite and were therefore given directions on exactly where to go without even having to ask.
When we arrived at the Nelson Suite we were greeted by Jemma, who also made us most welcome, and she and her staff looked after us brilliantly for the rest of the day. We had been given a table in the window so had an excellent view of the racecourse and we thought the Carvery was excellent value.
All in all it was a wonderful day and we have already booked to return for the next meeting on 2 February and shall be attending as many more as we can during the jumping season. We also note that annual membership at Leicester this year would have entitled us to attend all the meetings at Stratford and so if this is repeated for 2012 we will probably be applying to full membership at Leicester.
